Optional Actor Launchpad: Portfolio & Reel

This is the very first intake of Actors Lab: Improv, Screen & Industry — a 4-week training space that fuses acting fundamentals with the freedom of improvisation and real industry preparation.

What You’ll Experience

• Core acting fundamentals: truthful listening, presence and “reality of doing” based on Meisner, mindfulness and somatic awareness

• Improvisation: bold, playful exploration to deepen instinct and spontaneity

• On-camera and self-tape skills: framing, eyelines, slates, and basic audition readiness

• Supportive and encouraging culture: feedback, collaboration and accountability every week - we'll help you believe in yourself.

Each session blends structured fundamentals with open improvisation, guided by local actors Asher Godson-King and Stephanie LJ Linley, with special guest APAC teacher Tony Kishawi.

Entry into this program is by audition only, to ensure all participants meet entry-level professional standards. Numbers are strictly limited. 

This investment includes full participation in the 4-week training program, during which you will develop three key scenes to be professionally filmed for your reel.

You may join the 4-week program first, then upgrade to the Launchpad before 27th November. We recommend booking as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

• Shoot Day – 12th December at an exclusive Sunshine Coast venue, filming your three short scenes.

• Self-Tape & Industry Support – Guidance on self-tape submissions and approaching agents.
